DIGITAL VOTING SYSTEM – DVS М1

It is increasingly common for event organisers to have to harvest the opinion or the immediate re-sponse of a target audience and provide instant visual feedback. In any voting procedure, apart from telling the "ayes" from the "nays", and these two, from those who abstained, there are some trickier questions, such as:

• Did everyone cast their vote?
• How many of those who did expressed their own personal opinion?
• Did some of them vote the way they did just to please others who might find
  out about it?
• Can every voter be sure that he or she will remain anonymous?
• Is the outcome of the vote reliable?

DVS M1 has been designed for the rapid polling of up to 1,000 respondents.
DVS M1 comprises a central control unit, CCU 1000, and personal digital voting units,

CCU 1000 Central Control Unit

• Full digital control
• Up to 1,000 incoming votes/responses (on 10 data buses, each servicing up to 100 vot-ers/respondents)
• Seven LED indicator segments to visualise voting results:
  1. Position 1, In Favour
  2. Position 2, Against
  3. Position 3, Abstained
  4. Total Votes Cast
• All Votes Cast indicator
• Maximum vote-counting delay of nine seconds
• Self-test
• Anti-tampering system
• Results displayed on optional electronic scoreboard to feed back to the audience
   

DVU 1000 Digital Voting Unit

• Digital vote entry
• Personal choice of In Favour, Against or Abstained, or Response 1, 2 or 3
• Up to 100 units per data bus (and a total of 10 data buses)
• Vote Cast LED indicator
• Vote Registered LED indicator
• Ease of layout in auditorium (single cable connecting all DVUs and the CCU)

DVS M1 is suitable for all kinds of public surveys. It is fully portable and can be installed in any room large enough to accommodate the desired number of participants.

The choice of numerical responses 1, 2 or 3 makes possible consumer surveys discriminating between alternative product offerings.
